This one is sure to be a sell out. Travis Scott joined forces with Kim Jones for a debut capsule collection at Paris Fashion Week, and it did not disappoint.
The internet breaking collaboration marks the first time a musician has been part of the design process at the French Maison. The full collection was as graphic heavy as you’d expect from Scott, including a play on the Dior oblique print that reads “Jack” and a mashup of the two parties’ logos. The new motif was seen across leather accessories, utilitarian outerwear, and slouchy intarsia sweaters.
We saw styles demonstrating psychedelic illustrations- cartoon like mushrooms and rocks plastered across boxy t-shirts and sweatshirts. Jewellery strung with Cactus Jack charms also appeared throughout the runway.
“I just tried to take some of the textures of what you might see in my backyard on an everyday basis,” says Scott. “I wanted to make something that felt like you can wear it on the street every day, but it still has some type of way that you can wear it in and out of a major building, or to the bodega – so we just took that journey.”
